Ablaze
First and foremost, Ablaze!™
is not a program. It's a movement. Ablaze! began as a vision of LCMS
World Mission. A movement is a coalition of partners—individuals, congregations, LCMS
districts, mission societies, partner church bodies, etc.—that share the same values
and commit to a common cause. Ablaze! partners share the goal of working
together and doing whatever it takes to share the Good News of Jesus Christ .
Lutheran Hour Ministries, as an involved partner mission agency of The Lutheran
Church-Missouri Synod, has committed to being an active participant in the Ablaze!
movement of reaching 100 million unreached and uncommitted people with the Gospel
by 2017, the 500th anniversary of the Reformation.
